This study provided a comprehensive exploration of the molecular interplay between glioma and COVID-19, highlighting the critical role of the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway and the potential modulatory effects of vitamin D. Through integrated bioinformatics analyses, we identified six prognostically significant genes—MYBL2, RBM6, VEPH1, AHNAK2, GNG10, and DUSP14—that are differentially expressed in both glioma and COVID-19 contexts. Here, DUSP14 is linked to COVID-19.
