To further characterize the role of BAMBI in tumor immunity, the relationships between BAMBI expression levels and the expression levels of biomarkers for B cells (cluster of differentiation [CD]19 and CD79A), CD8+ T cells (CD8A and CD8B), CD4+ T cells (CD4), neutrophils (ITGAM and CCR7), dendritic cells (CD1C, HLA-DPA1, and HLA-DPB1) and macrophages (CD11c, IRF5, and IL-12 for M1 macrophages; CD206 and Arg1 for M2 macrophages) were investigated in HCC.
