Rosuvastatin treatment demonstrated amelioration of hypercholesterolemia induced by a high-fructose diet, effectively reducing TC even in the presence of allergic asthma (FS: 74.0 ± 6.9 mg/dL vs. F: 137.7 ± 9.2 mg/dL, p < 0.0001; FAS: 87.4 ± 6.1 mg/dL vs. FA: 118.6 ± 9.3 mg/dL, p < 0.0001. Here, FAS is linked to familial hypercholesterolemia.
