NPPA and preeclampsia: In the sera of patients who developed gestational hypertension later in pregnancy, higher concentrations of both MR-proANP (GH, 880 ± 110 pg/mL vs. non-GH, 390 ± 30 pg/mL; p < 0.001) (Figure 1B,D) and adrenomedullin (GH, 295 ± 74 pg/mL vs. non-GH, 100 ± 4.5 pg/mL; p < 0.001) were found (Figure 1C,D).
