These observations suggested that NLRP3/autophagy pathway have a great influence in the inhibition of osteoclastogenesis by ZOL in inflammatory microenvironment, and providing a new idea and a valuable reference for assessing the pharmacological impact of nitrogen‐containing bisphosphonates on bone tissue during inflammation and the application of this drug in the regulation of bone resorption in inflammatory bone diseases like periodontitis or peri‐implantitis. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and bone inflammation disease.
