Solo-infection of neutrophils with WT or ΔT4 L. longbeachae resulted in ~38% co-localization of NGAL to the Lo-LCPs at 15 min post-infection, while neutrophils solo-infected with the WT or ΔT4 L. pneumophila controls exhibited 55% and 25% co-localization of NGAL to Lp-LCPs, respectively (Fig. 4D and F).
