Asthma prevalence: 17.4% of children were diagnosed with asthma by age five. PFAS exposure: no significant association between prenatal PFAS exposure and asthma or wheezing. IgE levels: positive correlation between cord serum PFAS levels (PFOA, PFOS, PFDA) and total serum IgE levels, particularly when exposure was above certain thresholds.
