Compared to control animals, phloroglucinol-treated mice showed a potent reduction in several parameters after DSS treatment, including DAI (Figure 6(b)), weight loss (Figure 6(c)), MPO levels (Figure 6(d)) and global histopathological scores (Figure 6(e,f)), exhibiting long-lasting anti-inflammatory effects during gut inflammation.
