Compared with Ube2mf/f mice, Lysm+Ube2ml/f mice with E. coli-induced sepsis presented significantly lower levels of serum proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α) (Fig. 2, C–E), markedly alleviated alveolar wall thickening, lung edema, and liver injury (Fig. 2F), and an obvious improvement in the overall survival rate (Fig. 2G).
