CD4 and cancer: According to our findings from the TIMER2 database, B3GNT5 expression showed a positive correlation with levels of effective and resting memory CD4+ T cells, neutrophils, and macrophages (Fig 7A), conversely, it shows a negative correlation with B cells, central memory CD4+ T cells, Th1 CD4+ T cells, NK T cells, and regulatory T cells (Tregs) in the TCGA pan-cancer cohort (Fig 7B).
