We found that the AUC of S100-β combined with END at 48 h of stroke onset (model A) was not significantly different from the AUC of END (P = 0.379), but that S100-β combined with NHISS score (model B) statistically significantly increased the AUC of NHISS score to 0.735 (P = 0.016). This evidence concerns the gene S100B and stroke disorder.
