Western blot analysis showed that treatment with 20 and 50 μM SchA significantly increased p‐AMPK level while decreasing the p‐mTOR and p‐S6K protein levels in Huh7 cells (p < 0.01) (Figure 5), which indicated that SchA could inhibit hepatocellular carcinoma by activating the AMPK signaling pathway and inhibiting S6K. Here, MTOR is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
