Clinical trials have been conducted to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacological properties, and antitumor effects of Nrf2 inhibitors, including pyrimethamin (NCT05678348) and sulforaphane (NCT03182959), as well as the GLS1 inhibitor telaglenastat (NCT03872427, NCT04265534), TORC 1/2 inhibitor sapanisertib (NCT02417701), Keap1 activator VD-130037 (NCT05954312), and other compounds in Nrf2-mutated cancer types, such as HNSCC, NSCLC, and acute myeloid leukemia (Table 4). The gene discussed is NFE2L2; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
