NFKB1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: Combined analysis of ChIP-qPCR and RNA-seq data further revealed that lactate-induced elevation of H3K18la directly activates NF-κB signaling by enhancing binding to the NF-κB1 (p50) promoter region, which in turn upregulates senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) components IL-6 and IL-8, thereby influencing brain aging and phenotypes of Alzheimer's disease.83
