Correlation analysis between LYRM2 expression status and clinical data from our patient cohort (Table 1) indicated that positive staining for LYRM2 in HCC tissues was correlated with liver cirrhosis (p = 0.041), larger tumour diameter (p = 0.024), the presence of multiple tumour nodules (p = 0.012) and microvascular invasion (p = 0.019). This evidence concerns the gene LYRM2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
