The long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) RP11-468E2.5 interacts with STAT5 and STAT6, and its upregulation reduces phosphorylation levels of these proteins, leading to inhibited proliferation and the induction of G1/G0 phase arrest and apoptosis in CRC cells (Jiang et al., 2019). Here, STAT6 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
