Notably, FOXC2 overexpression mitigated the ferroptotic effects induced by METTL14 (Fig. 10A-E), suggesting that FOXC2 might be a key regulator in shielding cells from ferroptotic cell death triggered by METTL14, further complicating the cellular dynamics in KRASG12D-mutated CRC cells treated with MRTX1133.
