CCK-8 and EdU assays revealed that METTL14 counteracts the growth-inhibitory effects of MRTX1133 on KRASG12D-mutated CRC cells (Fig. 6C-D), suggesting a complex interaction where METTL14 potentially stabilises or modifies expression that contributes to cellular proliferation despite the presence of MRTX1133. This evidence concerns the gene METTL14 and colorectal carcinoma.
