IL‐33 is hardly detected in mouse blood vessels during homeostasis, whereas human endothelial cells are known to express IL‐33 constitutively and to be a major source of IL‐33 mRNA in inflamed tissues from patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and Crohn's disease.94, 95, 96, 97.
