NF-κB interacting LncRNA (NKILA), an important regulator in tumor development, was found to be downregulated in SMMC-7721, Hep3B, HCCLM3, and HepG2 cells compared to normal hepatocytes and interacted closely with baicalein: overexpression of NKILA increased the expression of the inhibitory effects of baicalein on the proliferation and migration of SMMC-7721 and HepG2 and its knockdown reversed these effects, which was also verified in animal experiments (10 mg/kg/d 28 d). This evidence concerns the gene NKILA and neoplasm.
