Golimumab (GM) is a human transgenic IgG1 tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) antagonist monoclonal antibody with the primary function of targeting and neutralizing TNFα, and so preventing inflammation as a TNFi [5]; it is approved for use in the treatment of patients with long-term immune-mediated inflammatory disorders, including, among others, psoriatic arthritis (PsA) [6]. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is psoriatic arthritis.
