In the GEMINI-ACS-1 trial (n = 3,037, 30% diabetics), it was found that combining low-dose rivaroxaban with a P2Y12 inhibitor, alongside aspirin, in patients with ACS undergoing PCI was deemed safe, with similar major bleeding rates, without any significant difference in patients with and without diabetes (54). Here, P2RY12 is linked to diabetes mellitus.
