qPCR (Fig. 6D) and western blotting (Fig. 6E) identified tumor cells as a significant source of CXCL2 post-cryoablation, suggesting that cryoablation induces tumor cells to secrete CXCL2, which interacts with CXCR2 on neutrophils, increasing their infiltration.
