Using cellular-resolution spatial transcriptomics in ccRCC, we found that IO exposure is associated with increased spatial gene-set enrichment of the EMT pathway and colocalization of the ligand-receptor transcripts COL4A1 and ITGAV. The cell types with the highest expression of these 2 genes were fibroblasts, tumor cells, and other endothelium cell types. Here, ITGAV is linked to nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
