ATG5 and Dravet syndrome: The 2′-OMe-Chol-siRNA targeting Atg5 (si-Atg5) was subconjunctivally injected into mice one day before DS treatment to specifically and efficiently inhibit the expression of Atg5 in cornea, as indicated in Figure 6A. The silencing efficiency of Atg5 in corneal epithelial cells was validated through western blot (Fig. 6F).
