We identified three tumors in our epigenetically distinct METs group that carried fusions described in molecularly defined, non-MET tumor types, i.e., EWSR1::NFATC2-rearranged mesenchymal neoplasms and IRF2BP2::CDX1-rearranged neoplasm [21, 22]. The gene discussed is IRF2BP2; the disease is mesenchymal cell neoplasm.
