A 55-year-old female with a history of traumatic falls in childhood complicated by left hemiparesis, cognitive impairment, DM, DVT, unspecified seizure disorder, and bipolar disorder, on Insulin, Anticoagulants, Antiepileptics, and Antipsychotics presented 10 days after discharge from the hospital for severe hyperglycemia and an acute change in physical mobility. Her CK level was 43,720, and her creatinine of 0.63. She survived the episode. Here, INS is linked to deep vein thrombosis.
