A more detailed analysis, including co-immunoprecipitation followed by mass spectrometry, indicated that PHLDA1 interacts with DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 7/autism susceptibility gene 2 protein (DCAF7/AUTS2) complex in neuroblastoma (Bugara et al. 2024), essential for neuronal differentiation of mouse stem cells (Wang et al. 2018c). The gene discussed is PHLDA1; the disease is neuroblastoma.
