NFE2L2 and Parkinson disease: In an unpublished study, we found that the attachment of MPs to the acupoints GB34 and GB20 improved motor disorders in 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine-induced PD mice by regulating neurotransmitters and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)/nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2(Nrf2) signaling in the brain.
