SMARCB1 and cancer: Because SMARCB1-deficient, SMARCA4/SMARCA2-deficient, and SS18–SSX fusion cell lines are highly sensitive to CBP/p300 dual inhibitors, it is conceivable that cancers harboring abnormal constituent genes in all of the four subcomplexes of the cBAF complex could be highly sensitive to CBP/p300 dual inhibitors (Fig. 1G).
