A network meta-analysis of 10 trials involving 2707 patients with resected EGFRm + NSCLC evaluated the effect of osimertinib on DFS in comparison to gefitinib (HR 0.42, 95%CI 0.26-0.67) and erlotinib (HR0.4, 95%CI 0.24-0.66) demonstrating a consistent and more significant DFS benefit seen with osimertinib than that in other earlier generation EGFR-TKIs in patients with resected early-stage EGFRm + NSCLC [22]. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
