The recurrent Yes-associated transcriptional regulator-mastermind-like transcriptional co-activator 2 (YAP1-MAML2 [YM]) fusion, resulting from intrachromosomal inversion, has been identified in a diverse array of cancers, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma,3 ovarian cancer,4 skin tumor poroma and porocarcinoma,5,6 thymomas,7,8,9 parotid gland carcinoma,10 and more complex forms of sarcomas11 and hemangioendotheliomas.12 Here, MAML2 is linked to ovarian cancer.
