Using genomic identification of significant targets in cancer (GISTIC) to identify statistically significant CNAs from the whole-genome sequencing data of 65 GCs, we detected copy number changes encompassing genes such as EGFR, MYC, CCND1, GATA6, CCNE1, and their surrounding regions, which have been reported to be associated with GC (Supplementary Fig. 4A).
