BCL2 and acute myeloid leukemia: Navitoclax (ABT-263) demonstrates anti-cancer properties, particularly when used with MEK or tyrosine kinase inhibitors against solid tumors (Tse et al., 2008; Walensky et al., 2004) (ABT-199), a potent Bcl-2 inhibitor, has shown promising outcomes for treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) (Souers et al., 2013).
