At present, with the deepening of HAE genomics research, many scientists have found that the lesion and its peripheral infiltration zone has rich microvascular density, and it has been proved by experiments that HIF-1α, VEGFA, and VEGFR signaling pathway may be involved in the formation of its microvessels and participate in the occurrence and development of HAE (36–39). This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and hereditary angioedema.
