Various oral commercial anti-diabetic drugs like biguanides, meglitinide, sulfonylureas, thiazolidinedione, dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors, sodium–glucose cotransporter, and carbohydrate-hydrolyzing enzyme inhibitors have been implemented to control postprandial hyperglycemia (Chaudhury et al., 2017; El‐Nashar et al., 2023). This evidence concerns the gene DPP4 and Hyperglycemia.
