Our analysis showed that in the Arab population from Egypt and Saudi Arabia, gender and door-to-needle time (DTN) were not predictive factors of any HT subtypes in AIS patients treated with tPA; our findings agreed with Lansberg et al., Liu et al., Nisar et al., and Sun et al.9,24–26, who stated that gender, DTN did not predict haemorrhagic transformation in AIS patients treated with tPA, and disagreed with the findings of Chenna et al. and Xue et al.27,28, who found that DTN was an independent predictor of haemorrhagic transformation in AIS patients treated with tPA.
