Overall, our data not only provide important insights into the roles and mechanisms of E2F1, E2F7 and MYBL2 in GC but also shed light on potential targeted therapies for GC from three different angles: E2F1, E2F7 and MYBL2 themselves, E2F1/E2F7 expression ratios, and E2F7 nuclear localization.
