AKT1 and cancer: The results showed that the dysregulated genes were involved in multiple cancer-related pathways, such as phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (AKT) signaling, Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling, and Wnt signaling, etc. (Fig. 7A), with the PI3K/AKT pathway being the most significantly enriched (Fig. 7, A and B).
