Positive correlations were found between CRP BMI and insulin levels in a research study conducted by Rudnicka et al. White Blood Cells (WBC), CRP, luteinizing hormone (LH), total testosterone (tT), androstenedione, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), and 17-OHP levels were significantly increased in the PCOS group while their follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2), sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), and progesterone (PG) were significantly lower compared to healthy controls [14].
