CDH1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: Overexpressing HSPB6 led to a significant increase in E-cadherin levels, while levels of N-cadherin and Slug proteins saw a decrease in both T24 and RT-112 cells, as shown in Figure 9, A and B. These findings suggest that the regulatory role of HSPB6 in EMT processes could have a substantial impact on the migration and invasion capacities of BLCA cells.
