The relevance of these anti-B16-F10 CD8+ T cell responses to the overall therapy in Fig. 6D was confirmed by antibody depletion studies which showed that AAV-8-AIRE-mediated therapy of B16-F10 tumours was dependent upon both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, but not NK cells, (Fig. 6F).
