PAX8 and Miyoshi myopathy: They believed that PAX-8 could also be positive in MM because PAX-8 and calretinin were co-expressed in the epithelium of the ovary surface, a transitional area known as the tubal–peritoneal junction, where the PAX-8(+) epithelium might sometimes differentiate along the mesothelial lineage, resulting in a series of PAX-8(+) mesothelial lesions.
