As cDC2 cells could influence neutrophil chemotaxis and migration, we examined neutrophil gene expression and found that neutrophils in multi‐primary tumours exhibited high expression of LYZ, TNFAIP3, G0S2, NFKBIA, C5AR1, PDE4B and FGL2 (Figure S5E and Table S12), which have been reported to inhibit anti‐inflammatory potential and promote the formation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs).76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81. This evidence concerns the gene NFKBIA and neoplasm.
