In the present review, we discuss the potential of emerging RA biologic therapy centered on RASF (rheumatoid arthritis synovial fibroblasts) triggering molecules, B cell activating factor (BAFF), a protein of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family, and alarmins S100 calcium-binding protein A7 (S100A7, also known as psoriasin) and IL-36α in the pathogenesis of RA. Here, IL36A is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
