Subcutaneous ALκ(TAL) amyloidomas contained a plethora of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), indicating activation of the neutrophils in the amyloid; however, these were not observed in ALλ(CLA) lesions, suggesting that neutrophils become differentially activated when entering in ALκ(TAL) lesions compared to ALλ(CLA) lesions (Figures 3, 4). Here, ALK is linked to amyloidoma.
