In this study, a retrospective analysis was conducted on 202 patients with pSS, leading to the identification of ten key risk factors associated with thyroid involvement: HCRP, pulmonary disease, pharyngeal dryness, forgetfulness, night sweats, hyperuricemia, nasal dryness, anxiety, Ro52 antibodies, and AST. This evidence concerns the gene TRIM21 and hyperuricemia.
