According to Rodrigues et al. [27], both SA and JA/ET pathways were involved in the resistance of soybean plants against infection by P. pachyrhizi (great up-regulation of URE, ICS2, CHIB1, PAL1.1, PAL2.1, PAL3.1, PR1-A, SABATH2, JAR1, PR10, MMP2, NAC19, ETR1, and OPR3) after being elicited by hexanoic acid. Here, MMP2 is linked to infection.
