Guo et al. [22] showed that the use of linsitinib and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) as IGF1-R antagonists inhibited the resistance of colon cancer to regorafenib, the growth of colon-cancer-like stem cells, decreased the expression of CD133, CD44, and CD24 genes, and increased the expression of CDX2 and PTEN genes. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and colonic neoplasm.
