High levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-I), at 1591.00 ng/mL (84.6–211), and growth hormone (GH), at 8.720 ng/mL (0.030–2.470), and no suppression of GH levels <1.0 ng/mL in the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) after the administration of 75 g glucose confirmed the diagnosis of acromegaly.
