In female RA patients, higher HAQ levels and the use of csDMARDs were significantly associated with an increased CV risk score, calculated by using the Progetto Cuore [coefficient 0.008 (95% CI 0.001 to 0.015); p = 0.011], while ACPA positivity was associated with a higher CV risk score, estimated with ERS-RA [coefficient 0.018 (95% CI 0.001 to 0.036); p = 0.033] (Table 3).
