Elevated serum NT-proBNP levels were significantly correlated with advanced age (ρ = 0.31, p = 0.0273), elevated levels of urea (ρ = 0.29, p = 0.0401), uric acid (ρ = 0.30, p = 0.0338), TR velocity (ρ = 0.38, p = 0.0068), RV-RA gradient (ρ = 0.31, p = 0.0301) and PASP (ρ = 0.39, p = 0.0053) only in T2DM patients with advanced HF. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
